Thursday - Tucson

The drive down to Tucson was through some very pretty canyon country. Having got up at 6:30, was down here around 10:30. Spent some time driving around and then driving up to Mt Lemmon. Tucson is at about 2700' but Mt Lemmon goes up past 8K. Pretty tall for so close to Tucson. Drove all the way up to a little town called Summerhaven where folks go to escape the summer heat. Alot of new construction up there - a fire went through a year or two back.

Kicked around the city a little bit until my friend Noreen got off work. Stopped by the local climbing gym to peek inside and get a sence of it. Noreen got off work early, we bummed around a bit and then went to pick up her daughter at track practice and off we went to a very quaint little Mexican restaurant downtown. Very good. Called it early and was in bed by ten.
